Healthcare Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Analyst II who will analyze healthcare utilization to identify patterns and opportunities for cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare utilization to identify patterns, variation, and outliers
• Evaluate the effectiveness of medical cost reduction initiatives and provide recommendations
• Support the intake and execution of ad-hoc analytics requests from various departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics
• Managed care experience is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare data including medical and pharmacy claims
• Proficient in Transact-SQL, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau
