Healthcare Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Healthcare Analyst to support the Zero Balance team by reviewing contracts, analyzing claims data, and identifying trends in underpayments while enhancing client relations and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contracts between hospitals and insurance carriers, model claims data, and identify lost revenue
• Prepare and forward claim appeal letters with supporting documentation for denial overturn
• Perform analysis on large data sets to identify underpayment and denial trends

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or internship in a healthcare-related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle or Healthcare Claims preferred
• Understanding of health insurance, EHRs, EMRs, and claims handling
• Basic to experienced knowledge of Excel
• Understanding of auditing and reporting tools such as SQL is a plus
