Healthcare Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Healthcare Analyst for the Zero Balance team, who will work remotely to evaluate hospital contracts, analyze healthcare claims data, and identify underpayment trends to support revenue recovery initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Review and interpret hospital contracts with insurance carriers to identify reimbursement discrepancies
- Analyze large healthcare claims data sets to identify underpayment, denial, and reimbursement variance trends
- Collaborate with teams to develop audit flags that monitor emerging underpayment trends and ensure compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate denial root causes
- Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle or denial management environments
- Proven ability to learn and adopt new technologies and software applications quickly
- Experience with denial analytics platforms and familiarity with insurance carriers and payer guidelines
