Healthcare Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Healthcare Analyst for the Zero Balance team will evaluate hospital contracts, analyze healthcare claims data, and identify reimbursement discrepancies to support revenue recovery initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Review and interpret hospital contracts with insurance carriers to identify reimbursement discrepancies
- Analyze large healthcare claims data sets to identify trends in underpayment and denial
- Collaborate with teams to develop audit flags and provide insights for revenue optimization
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate denial root causes
- Proven ability to learn and adopt new technologies and operational processes quickly
- Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle or denial management environments
