Healthcare Analyst
Job Summary
Analyzing healthcare utilization patterns, the full-time remote Healthcare Analyst II will identify cost reduction opportunities, evaluate medical initiatives, and develop tools for market performance comparison.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze healthcare utilization to identify patterns, variations, and outliers
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical cost reduction initiatives and provide recommendations
- Support ad-hoc analytics requests from various departments across the organization
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare analytics
- Managed care experience is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools such as Transact-SQL, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau
- Knowledge of healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims, EMR data, and demographic data
