Healthcare Analytics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Analytics Analyst, preferably a Connecticut-based candidate, to perform research and analysis of healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of healthcare claims, pharmacy, and lab data for network utilization and cost containment
• Develop and distribute reports using SQL and other analytic tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements
• Analyze data trends and anomalies, and assist with special projects as needed by internal or external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in database and data management responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• 2-4 years of experience in analyzing financial/performance management metrics
• Preferred experience in Medical Economics and knowledge of Performance Indicators
