Healthcare Appeals Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PAS Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Collate appeal packages to be submitted to various payers
• Submit appeals to various payers in accordance with specific facility protocols
• Navigate PAS portal, R1 software suite, and combined use of other online tools/software and resources

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 1+ year of work experience in the healthcare revenue cycle (billing, follow-up, cash posting, appeals)
• Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Word; excellent computer skills
• Experience working with medical records is preferred (HIM, Medical records tech)
