Healthcare Application Engineer

Job Summary

To support the day-to-day operation and optimization of the Clinisys (Sunquest) Laboratory Information System, the remote Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer will manage incident resolution, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure system performance in a dynamic healthcare environment on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Sunquest LIS workflows and application functionality
• Manage daily support, maintenance, and incident resolution in accordance with service level agreements
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to align system capabilities with business requirements

Required qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in application support or management
• Hands-on experience with the Clinisys (Sunquest) LIS suite
• Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot issues across teams
• Understanding of healthcare privacy and compliance requirements, including HIPAA
