Healthcare AR Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for billing and follow-up of accounts, the full-time remote Healthcare AR Specialist will manage claim status, perform collections, and resolve billing issues in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor claim status and record updates daily for commercial insurance billing
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable and resolve billing issues
• Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies and patients to reconcile account discrepancies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college or accounting training preferred
• At least 1 year of experience with receivables/collections in a healthcare setting
• Strong telephonic communication skills
