Healthcare Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to support the VP Controller in overseeing accounting operations with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Lead external audit processes and maintain internal controls over financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
