Healthcare Audit Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Audit Manager to oversee and improve audit response operations in a healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage external audit requests and establish workflows for timely responses
• Conduct internal billing audits and collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
• Track audit findings and corrective actions, providing training on audit preparedness and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Compliance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare audit management, compliance, or revenue cycle operations
• Active healthcare compliance certification (CHC, CHPC, or similar) or willingness to obtain within two years
• Understanding of HIPAA, Privacy Act, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Ability to analyze complex contract requirements and regulations
