Job Summary

A company is looking for an Audit Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Support external healthcare claims audits and prepare timely audit responses
• Partner with internal business units to gather information and communicate audit findings
• Maintain compliance with laws and regulations while ensuring HIPAA/patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare claims auditing or a closely related area
• Basic understanding of healthcare claims audits, including pre-pay and post-pay processes
• Familiarity with the audit lifecycle, including record requests and findings review
• Ability to engage with business units to gather information and explain audit findings
