Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Healthcare Billing Coordinator will manage billing data entry, verify insurance information, and resolve discrepancies through client communication, ensuring timely and accurate billing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform billing data entry and compare data with source documents
- Research and update missing or incorrect billing information and demographic data
- Communicate with clients and patients to resolve billing defects and ensure prompt payment
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry (10 key skills)
- Previous experience in revenue cycle management (RCM) is preferred
