Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Billing Recovery Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a Provider portfolio focusing on recovery and engage in outbound recovery calls regarding improperly paid claims
• Review documentation to determine the accuracy of findings or overpayment allegations for complex appeals and disputes
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices and educate healthcare providers on their payment obligations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a highly analytic or recovery role
• Experience in healthcare billing and/or coding is required
• Knowledge of healthcare coordination of benefits or revenue cycle management
• Proficiency in using Excel for reporting and analysis
