Healthcare Billing Recovery Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Billing Recovery Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound recovery calls to Healthcare Carriers and Providers regarding improperly paid claims
• Review supporting documentation to determine the accuracy of findings or overpayment allegations for complex appeals and disputes
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices and educate healthcare providers/carriers on their obligations to pay

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a highly analytic or recovery role
• Experience in Healthcare Billing and/or Coding is required
• Knowledge of Coordination of Benefits or Revenue Cycle Management
• Significant experience may substitute for a completed degree
