Healthcare Billing Recovery Analyst

Job Summary

Healthcare Billing Recovery Analyst, a full-time position responsible for managing a Provider portfolio, engaging in recovery calls, and resolving medical billing issues through analysis and communication with healthcare providers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in outbound recovery calls to healthcare carriers and providers regarding improperly paid claims
• Review supporting documentation to determine accuracy of findings or overpayment allegations for complex appeals and disputes
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid practices and regulatory issues affecting clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a highly analytic or recovery role
• Experience in healthcare billing and/or coding is required
• Knowledge or experience with healthcare, coordination of benefits, or revenue cycle management
• Ability to analyze and interpret explanations of benefits (EOB) and resolve billing issues
