Healthcare Billing Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time Healthcare Billing Recovery Specialist, the successful candidate will manage outreach to stakeholders regarding Medicare Secondary Recovery Program cases, providing education and support to ensure timely payment and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review case documentation and communicate with stakeholders to address questions and facilitate payment
• Conduct monthly outreach calls, create agendas, and respond to inquiries from assigned stakeholders
• Update client systems with accurate information and ensure compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical claim billing procedures, medical terminology, and medical coding
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits (COB), Third Party Liability (TPL), and Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP)
• Demonstrated ability to complete high-quality casework in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in using standard office technology and applications
