Healthcare Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Healthcare Billing Specialist will manage billing data entry, verify insurance information, and communicate with clients to resolve billing issues, working in a hybrid role with three remote days and two in-office days as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform billing data entry and ensure accuracy by comparing data with source documents
• Research and update billing demographic data to facilitate prompt payment from insurance
• Communicate with clients and patients via phone to resolve billing discrepancies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry (10 key skills)
• Experience in revenue cycle management (RCM) is preferred
