Healthcare Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Healthcare Billing Specialist will manage billing data entry, verify insurance information, and communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform billing data entry and ensure accuracy by comparing data with source documents
• Research and correct missing or incorrect billing information to facilitate prompt payment
• Conduct communication with clients and patients to resolve any billing defects

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry (10 key skills)
• Previous experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is preferred
