Healthcare Billing Specialist
Job Summary
To support billing operations remotely, the full-time Healthcare Billing Specialist will manage data entry, verify insurance information, and communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform billing data entry and ensure accuracy by comparing data with source documents
- Research and correct missing or incorrect billing information and update demographic data
- Communicate with clients and patients via phone to resolve billing issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry (10 key skills)
- Previous experience in revenue cycle management (RCM) is preferred
