Healthcare Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Healthcare Business Analyst will collaborate with clients and team members to research, validate, and document business needs, ensuring effective translation of client requests into the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) while managing client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare items for client meetings and update Operating Procedure Manuals as needed
• Collaborate with clients on change requests, publications, and claim adjustments
• Assist with quarterly and annual updates for CPT, HCPCS, and diagnosis codes in the system

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare claims
• Certification as a coder is preferred
• Proficiency in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in creating and maintaining manual documentation
