Healthcare Business Analyst

Job Summary

Collaborating with clients and internal teams, the full-time remote Healthcare Business Analyst will research, validate, and document business needs while managing client expectations and assisting with Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) changes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare materials for client meetings and ensure Operating Procedure Manuals are updated as needed
• Assist clients with change requests, publications, and claim adjustments while documenting updates for reference changes
• Work with the systems team on assigned changes and ensure compliance with quarterly and annual coding updates

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with healthcare claims experience
• Certified coder preferred
• Proficiency in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
