Healthcare Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support a large-scale Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) environment, the full-time Sr. Business Analyst, Healthcare/HIPAA will manage requirements gathering, gap analysis, and system enhancements while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with business stakeholders
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for system enhancements and operational improvements
- Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including testing and implementation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Business Analysis experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or claims processing environments
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and SDLC practices
- Experience in gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
