- Manage a high volume of inbound calls, providing accurate information and empathetic support to members
- Assist with Tier 1 inquiries and escalate complex issues to Tier 2 when necessary
- Document all interactions accurately and maintain adherence to schedule standards
Qualifications and Skills for the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
- Previous customer service experience
- Call center experience preferred; healthcare or medical claims experience is a plus
- Comfortable working on the phone and computer for the entire shift
- Empathetic and positive attitude with active listening skills
- Ability to adapt to different situations and maintain patience under pressure
