Healthcare Cloud Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare cloud platform, the full-time Healthcare Cloud Systems Administrator will ensure the availability, performance, and security of US-based cloud environments and IT systems while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of production environments
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for system outages, acting as the primary technical point of contact for US infrastructure alerts
• Manage IT systems, including access management and device procurement, while providing support to US employees for hardware and software issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cloud and IT system management, with at least 3 years in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency with AWS services and hands-on experience with AWS security and compliance services
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, and FedRAMP frameworks, including maintaining systems under SOC2 Type II and FedRAMP standards
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, Docker, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash
