Healthcare Cloud Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare cloud platform, the full-time Healthcare Cloud Systems Administrator will ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud environments and IT systems while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AWS infrastructure for healthcare applications, ensuring high availability and performance
• Support deployment efforts and provide input on best practices for product development and compliance certification
• Act as the first line of IT support for US employees, managing systems access and hardware procurement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud and IT system management, with at least 3 years in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of AWS services and hands-on experience with AWS security and compliance services
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, Docker, and scripting languages (Python/Bash/Typescript)
• Experience working within HIPAA, SOC2, and FedRAMP frameworks
