Healthcare Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Representative to resolve outstanding payer balances and manage healthcare claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and recommend process improvements
• Resolve assigned accounts in a timely manner to maximize reimbursement in compliance with regulations
• Maintain knowledge of payer policies and ensure timely escalation of aging accounts

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of accounts receivable experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with denied healthcare claims and insurance verification
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
