Healthcare Collections Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Healthcare Collections Specialist to perform specialized collection work for clients to reduce outstanding accounts receivables.
Key Responsibilities
- Document accurate and up-to-date information in account history while maintaining confidentiality
- Assist patients with payment arrangements and negotiate within payment guidelines
- Work collaboratively in a virtual team to achieve daily and monthly collection goals
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Preferred experience in collections
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
- Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
