Healthcare Collections Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Healthcare Collections - Self-Pay (Remote) specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls to arrange debt repayment based on patients' financial situations
- Utilize HIPAA and TCPA guidelines during calls and manage patient disputes effectively
- Perform outbound calls and assist with other assigned responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year of experience in healthcare collections working with patients
- 1 year of experience with HER Software Epic
- Preferred: Associate's degree and two years of related experience
- Preferred: Experience in self-pay collections in healthcare
