Healthcare Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Collections Specialist to perform specialized collection work to reduce outstanding accounts receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Document accurate and up-to-date information in account history while maintaining confidentiality
• Assist patients with payment arrangements for outstanding medical accounts through inbound and outbound calls
• Collaborate within a virtual team to meet daily and monthly productivity goals related to collections

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Preferred experience in collections
• At least 6 months of customer service experience
• Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
