Healthcare Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Collections Specialist to perform specialized collection work on behalf of clients to reduce outstanding accounts receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Document accurate and up-to-date information in account histories while maintaining confidentiality
• Assist patients with payment arrangements for their outstanding medical accounts through inbound and outbound calls
• Work within a virtual team to achieve daily and monthly productivity goals related to calls and collections

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Collection experience is preferred
• At least 6 months of customer service experience
• Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
