Healthcare Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Healthcare Collections Specialist will manage specialized collection tasks for clients, focusing on reducing outstanding accounts receivables through inbound and outbound patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Document accurate account information across multiple software systems while maintaining confidentiality
• Assist patients with payment arrangements and provide resources for settling outstanding medical bills
• Collaborate with a virtual team to meet daily and monthly collection goals while adhering to compliance regulations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Preferred experience in collections and at least 6 months in customer service
• Proficient PC knowledge with typing skills of 30-40 wpm
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities
