Healthcare Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To assist clients' customers with outstanding balances, the full-time Healthcare Collections Specialist will manage inbound and outbound calls for debt repayment while providing exceptional customer service in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls to arrange debt repayment based on patients' financial situations and client guidelines
• Utilize HIPAA and TCPA guidelines during calls, ensuring all required statements are sent for managed accounts
• Manage patient disputes by obtaining necessary information and escalating issues to a supervisor when needed

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of collections experience in healthcare working with patients
• Minimum one year of experience with Software Epic
