Healthcare Compliance Manager
Job Summary
Managing the day-to-day operations of the compliance program, the full-time Healthcare Compliance Manager will ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, conduct compliance investigations, and collaborate across the organization to improve compliance and risk management processes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough compliance investigations into policy violations and regulatory breaches, including HIPAA and fraud-related cases
- Proactively identify compliance risks by reviewing internal processes and monitoring changing regulations
- Develop key risk indicators and continuous monitoring programs to evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of healthcare compliance experience, preferably in a high-growth healthcare startup or organization
- 2+ years of experience conducting and resolving complex compliance and privacy investigations
- Strong functional knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA/HITECH and state Medicaid requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
