Healthcare Compliance Officer

Job Summary

To support the growth of a healthcare compliance program, the full-time remote Healthcare Compliance Officer will design, build, and lead an enterprise-wide compliance initiative while managing regulatory matters and collaborating with various business units.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve a comprehensive enterprise compliance program aligned with regulatory frameworks
• Set compliance strategy, including risk assessments, work plans, and program effectiveness reviews
• Manage government inquiries, audits, and investigations while serving as the principal liaison with regulators and external counsel

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively senior compliance experience in a healthcare company, with at least 5 years at the Director level or above
• Proven track record of designing and scaling an enterprise compliance program
• Substantial experience with government-funded healthcare programs, including Medicaid and Medicare
• Strong knowledge of federal healthcare regulations and state Medicaid program integrity requirements
• Multi-state operational experience managing comprehensive compliance programs across various environments
