Healthcare Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care program, the remote Staff I Consultant will manage client interactions, coordinate project teams, and contribute to deliverables while leveraging healthcare operations expertise in a dynamic consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project plans, prioritize activities, and execute project management principles to meet timelines and deliverable deadlines
• Develop and facilitate internal and external presentations and meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation of client interactions
• Engage actively with team members, adapting to change while contributing innovative ideas to meet client needs and achieve project goals

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of consulting or healthcare operations experience, preferably in a federal consulting environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare and/or health plan operations concepts and provider networks
• Demonstrated ability to produce deliverables under tight timelines with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desired
