Job Summary
To support a marketing services client, the contract Copy Editor will review and edit healthcare-related content for grammar, clarity, and consistency while working fully remotely on an as-needed basis.
Key responsibilities
- Review and edit marketing content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
- Ensure copy is polished and client-ready across various formats, including web and campaign materials
- Flag inconsistencies in tone, terminology, and style while turning around assignments quickly
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of copy editing experience required
- Experience in the healthcare, medical device, or regulated product industry is essential
- Experience editing for medical or clinical audiences (patients, providers, or HCPs) required
- Strong command of grammar, AP or Chicago style, and plain-language writing standards
- Ability to edit technical or clinical content without losing accuracy
