Healthcare Copy Editor

Job Summary

To support a marketing services client, the contract Copy Editor will review and edit healthcare-related content for grammar, clarity, and consistency while working fully remotely on an as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit marketing content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency
• Ensure copy is polished and client-ready across various formats, including web and campaign materials
• Flag inconsistencies in tone, terminology, and style while turning around assignments quickly

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of copy editing experience required
• Experience in the healthcare, medical device, or regulated product industry is essential
• Experience editing for medical or clinical audiences (patients, providers, or HCPs) required
• Strong command of grammar, AP or Chicago style, and plain-language writing standards
• Ability to edit technical or clinical content without losing accuracy
