Job Summary
A company is looking for a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist (REMOTE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle 60+ inbound and outbound calls daily regarding billing, payments, medical claims, and coverage
- Gather information, research account details, and resolve customer concerns accurately and promptly
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and support department initiatives for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in healthcare or insurance
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and medical terminology preferred
- Proven experience working with multiple systems and databases in a fast-paced environment
