Job Summary
A company is looking for a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join their Patient Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle up to 60 calls daily, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a call center environment
- Collect payments and provide guidance on payment options for outstanding balances
- Update patient accounts with correct information and explain medical bills, including financial responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' healthcare experience, preferably in medical billing and direct patient contact
- Exposure to insurance billing and medical terminology
- Technical proficiency in relevant software and systems
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred; language pay differential available
