Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join their Patient Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle up to 60 calls daily, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a call center environment
  • Collect payments and provide guidance on payment options for outstanding balances
  • Update patient accounts with correct information and explain medical bills, including financial responsibilities
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' healthcare experience, preferably in medical billing and direct patient contact
  • Exposure to insurance billing and medical terminology
  • Technical proficiency in relevant software and systems
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred; language pay differential available
