Job Summary

To support healthcare members and providers, the remote Healthcare Customer Service Specialist will handle inbound and outbound calls, resolve inquiries, schedule services, and ensure a positive experience in a full-time position.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer inbound and place outbound calls to assist members or patients with inquiries and service coordination
  • Provide accurate information about health plan benefits, eligibility, and coverage while scheduling appointments with healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic systems and protect member confidentiality in compliance with privacy regulations
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of call center customer service experience handling high call volume
  • 1+ year of healthcare or health insurance experience in member services or similar roles
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a designated, private workspace for remote work
