Job Summary
A company is looking for a Supervisor of Healthcare Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of clerical support staff to ensure compliance with policies and successful customer service activities
- Handle escalated inquiries from team members and providers, providing resolutions through effective communication
- Conduct training and support for team members on new workflows and continuously improve departmental processes
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive customer service experience in the medical or health insurance field
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience managing clerical or administrative staff
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations
- Experience in medical claims processing or quality assurance is preferred
