Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor of Healthcare Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of clerical support staff to ensure compliance with policies and successful customer service activities
  • Handle escalated inquiries from team members and providers, providing resolutions through effective communication
  • Conduct training and support for team members on new workflows and continuously improve departmental processes
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive customer service experience in the medical or health insurance field
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience managing clerical or administrative staff
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations
  • Experience in medical claims processing or quality assurance is preferred
