Healthcare Data Analyst

Job Summary

Reviewing and analyzing federal health-related legislation and policies, the full-time Healthcare Data and Policy Analyst will manage daily analytic activities, product development, and client presentations in a remote working environment within New York state and its neighboring states.

Key responsibilities:

• Summarizes and analyzes federal health-related legislation and regulations using computer processing techniques
• Develops updates and enhancements to existing products based on client feedback and changes in the Medicare payment environment
• Prepares data visualizations and presents analytic findings to clients and hospital members in formal settings

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in economic analysis, statistics, or information analysis in a health-related field, preferably in the hospital industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with business intelligence platforms preferred
• Demonstrated experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL and large relational databases
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients at executive levels
