Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical and pharmacy claims data to identify claims risk for underwriting
• Prepare Shock underwriting summaries and present significant risk findings to underwriters and medical risk consultants
• Collaborate with various departments to identify potential claimants and maintain a process for timely monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare data analysis or medical insurance billing
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Professional certification such as CCS, CCS-P, CPC-P, or RHIT preferred
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Considerable knowledge of relevant duties obtained through job-related training and experience
