Healthcare Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting a growing healthcare organization, the remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist will assist with patient data entry, record maintenance, and EHR system support in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Enter and update patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information within athenahealth
• Maintain accurate patient records, appointments, and medical documentation
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and duplicate information

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of healthcare data entry or administrative support experience
• Experience with athenahealth or similar EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data entry
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and insurance information preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
