Healthcare Data Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Leading clinical data integration efforts, the contract Healthcare Data Integration Engineer will connect client systems to the platform, design and implement data ingestion pipelines, and ensure healthcare data is transformed into standardized models for analytics and AI applications, requiring availability of 30-40 hours per week in a remote-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding activities for new clients and analyze source systems
• Map source data into healthcare interoperability standards and support transformation into OMOP CDM
• Build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines while collaborating with data engineers and data scientists

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare data integration, interoperability, or clinical data engineering
• Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7 v2
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with experience designing ETL pipelines
• Experience integrating REST APIs and understanding of healthcare data domains
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work directly with client technical teams
