Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applied Researcher to bridge the gap between data assets and customer needs in the healthcare vertical.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility analyses by querying healthcare datasets to assess patient cohort availability based on complex criteria
• Collaborate with customers to understand their use cases and support effective data integration
• Identify gaps in data offerings and provide insights for data acquisitions

Required Qualifications

• PhD or MS/BS in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, computer science, or data science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
• Hands-on experience with large-scale healthcare datasets, including imaging, EHR, genomics, claims, or pathology data
• Experience in a customer-facing role is a bonus
• Ability to think creatively about large-scale data problems
