Healthcare Economics Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Economics Consultant or Hospital Claims Data Analyst - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and analyze provider contracting and unit cost management activities
• Create financial and network pricing models and perform data extraction and quality checks
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and conduct moderately complex analyses

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in health care data analytics (Financial and Quality analytics)
• 2+ years of experience with provider payment methodologies
• 2+ years of experience working with hospital claims data and medical coding
• Experience tracking trends and developing reports in SQL and Excel
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and basic proficiency with SQL
