Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Healthcare Economics Consultant will manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining high-quality documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee primary source verification and maintain compliance with TJC, NCQA, CAQH, and CMS standards
- Conduct internal audits on credentialing files and compile Credentialing Committee Minutes
- Monitor and advise medical staff on upcoming renewal dates and credentialing requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of Healthcare Provider group/Facility Credentialing experience
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration or medical staff services
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work Pacific time zone hours
