Healthcare Economics Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Healthcare Economics Consultant will analyze claims, premium, capitation, and membership data to support underwriting and actuarial departments, identify medical cost improvement opportunities, and create automated processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data analysis in support of various departments, including underwriting and actuarial
• Identify areas for medical cost improvements and develop alternative pricing strategies
• Create and update automated processes and produce reports specific to risk adjustment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases
• 1+ years of healthcare experience working with claims data and medical codes
• 1+ years of experience in analytics and handling large data sets
