Job Summary
Supporting network strategy and contract negotiations, the full-time remote Healthcare Economics Consultant will analyze provider reimbursement, manage unit cost tracking, and develop financial models while collaborating with various teams to drive data-informed business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze provider reimbursement, pricing models, and financial impacts to support network strategy and contract negotiations
- Manage unit cost tracking and ensure alignment with anticipated negotiation outcomes and reimbursement changes
- Develop SQL queries and automated reporting tools to enhance executive decision-making and operational performance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of analytical experience in healthcare pricing, managed care, provider reimbursement, or healthcare analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables
- Experience with healthcare claims and reimbursement methodologies
- Knowledge of healthcare payment methodologies, including fee-for-service and value-based payment models
